Ballitore has been associated with The Society of Friends since the first Quakers settled here from Yorkshire in 1685. Ballitore Quaker Museum contains a collection of artefacts on the Quaker settlement in Ballitore. The Quaker meeting house is still in use. Entrance charge. Open all year.
